New Initiatives

The John Rex Endowment (JRE) is launching a groundbreaking three-year partnership funding opportunity to advance our vision of a resilient, equity-centered ecosystem enhancing children’s social emotional health. This initiative, in collaboration with Emerging Equity, LLC (EE), invites organizations committed to racial equity and justice to join a supportive, collaborative community aimed at systemic impact. Selected organizations will receive $75,000 over three years, along with tailored assessments, leadership development, and a shared learning space to strengthen their capacity and impact. This venture represents our dedication to fostering a more equitable and effective ecosystem for children’s well-being.

Emerging Equity has been commissioned by Community Food Funders to design and implement a new fellowship serving Funders and Food System workers in the North East Tri-State area. The program launches in September and is a first of its kind.
